Versatile Aquarium Plant - Anubias barteri.
Anubias barteri var. barteri.

Anubias barteri is widely found in West Africa where it grows along the edges of various waterways and lives in marshy conditions.
Tropical aquarium plant specialists have produced a few variants of this plant and var. barteri is one of them. It most resembles the parent plant.

Favorite Fish!

Dwarf Pike Cichlids - Crenicichla sp.

Dwarf Pike Cichlids.

Dwarf pike cichlids are South American fish, found in various locations throughout the Amazon Basin.
They share many of the same characteristics as their larger cousins, the pike cichlids, but are much smaller and perhaps more suited to aquarium life.

Female dwarf pikes typically have markings in the dorsal fin, such as ocelli, or eye spots.

Once a pair is formed, separate them to a 55 gallon tank. Soft, acidic water, a low pH, and caves with very small openings will induce them to spawn.
