PostSubject: 75 Planted Project   Wed Oct 16, 2013 10:44 am

Here are some updated pics of my 75 Nature in Progress (stole that from PetSmart display tank). Added some more plants that I had received from DL and purchased as well as relocated from my 20.
Current inhabitants are;4 Red Wag Swords, 5Bolivian Rams, 10 Neons, 2 Gold Marble Angels, 10 Gold Priscilla's, 5 Albino Cory's, 6 Red Eye Tetra's, 6 Red Serpaes, 1 Alb Bushynose, 1 Oto, 2 Nerite Snails.
I am not sure of plants ID's yet. Couple different Crypts, Anubias, Hygrophila, Bacopa, Ludwigia, and some Val. All planted in PFS and added some Malaysian DW. Currently using twin T-8's and seem to be providing enough light. More on that later.

Ron, I love it!  The plants, the fish, and the layout. ThumbsUp  The eye is drawn in.
Even though they are so small, the pristellas stand out as a perfect fish for this set-up.  They were my first tetra and have always been a favorite of mine;
it's so nice to see your group in this new planted venture. sunny

Is the PFS really as white as it looks?

Thanks!
The PFS white color is very close. Camera bleached slightly but not to far off. I bought it at Leslie's and have been very pleased. Used in my 90 also.

I love that planted tank... Cool
BTW: Those Angelfish look like Koi to me. I don't see a lot of the iridescence typical of Gold Marble but it may be my monitor...
Regardless, I love your tank...fish

Thanks DL. Great compliment coming from you as your tank is awesome. I owe a lot of this to you for letting me re-home your fish and plants.

Thanks, you would know better than I if Koi or not. I was guessing by looking on breeder sites and looking at what they were calling Koi, and ones they called Gold Marble. Whatever, I like them.
Can't wait to go to PAW's Saturday as they said they just got in some Cobalt Blues yesterday. Hope they still have some left when I get there.
I'd sure like to find some Koi's like your Avatar too. Have not seen any like them.

I wish I could go to PAWs. I gotta play Saturday.

I brought those Koi locally. What a find. I'm raising some offspring now. I have some Gold Marbles and they are one pretty fish. I have always loved them. I'm lusting for Blues now...

I'm just happy to connect to some local enthusiast. I look forward to taking some trips, hanging out and seeing other hobbyist tanks...Hello

Ron, that is one BEAUTIFUL tank...

If you keep this up, Marty's going to allow you to keep setting up new tanks!!!!

Did you move the Buddha to the fireplace mantel? Very Happy

I think Buddha's look so cool in Aquariums, someday I'm gonna add one....

Very, very beautiful set up.
