my name is realy Ira. I have been keeping aquariums for 54 years.in the early day I keot mud minnows,crayfish. NowI keep angels,livebearers catfish, Ihave 5 jagaur cats about 10 kinds of corys,and abns ,reglars. at one time I was selling 150-200 baby angels, I have had about 40 kjinds of cories spawn for me.Ihate typing..

Hey Ira -- In the mid-80's I visited a catfish breeder who ran a "shop" out of his house, with tanks stacked crosswise on top of other tanks. He was breeding woodcats and all sorts of things I'd never seen anybody else breed. I'd guess he was in his 50s then, and I thought his name was "Ed" but maybe I'm wrong. Was that you, or do you know who I'm remembering? A younger woman worked there with him. A friend was driving that one time I went, so I dont recall where it was, somewhere in or near Richmond, in an old house.

that was Ed Andre.He run the RAVEN aQUARIUM SHOP.tHE BEST SHOP IN Richmond at the time.If youwere looking for something rare.he was the man to talk to.it wasn't at his house.I start going there in 1971. I boughta55 gallon setup new for 119.99. I KNOW alot about shops in richmond at that time

Hey fish guru you rock I give my credit to ira hes taught me everything an helped me improved on my on ideas a grade A+ an a genuine fish guru.. He taught me hust a lil peice of nature goes a long way visit your local streams an water ways you might be surprised. ..
