PostSubject: Bubbling up from Chesterfield   Mon May 05, 2014 8:53 pm

Hi people! I am Ransom (I don't like giving out my name online  silent ) and I was lurking through this forum for a while and decided to join. I am a fish-crazy kid that is obsessed with guppies, the best and worst beginners' fish in the hobby (In my opinion). I have had my two main boys, Fred and George, since August and I recently lost one of my starting females to an unknown complication. I only have 5 tanks at the moment and one of them isn't even set up (It is a 10g)! They are-

10g with Fred, George, King, Mirror, Black Glove and their harem
3g with young females and fry
3g with my pretty bachelors
1g currently quarantining a new boy who I have named Dragon

I wish I could set up the other 10g that I have but there is no more room in my room and my mom won't let me set up a boy tank downstairs.

My dream tank is a 55g with a Smallmouth Bass or two with a small school of Pumpkinseed, pond lilies, driftwood and a crayfish or five.

I can't wait to see what I can get out of this place! cheers

Welcome to CVAS. Bass are cool fish, but better left in ponds/rivers vs. kept in aquariums. However there are some predatory cichlids that could be kept in a 55 gallon tank.

Yeah, it is just a fantasy that I have for when I have more space. I just love fishing for them when I am on vacation.
