The dominant male Protomelas taeniolatus (Red Empress Hap) in my tank.

I put an extra light on top of the tank last night. It really demonstrated how crappy the existing light is on that one. I had to keep the aperture pretty open in order to get a moderately good shutter speed. My camera is over 10 years old and doesn't have IS so that doesn't help either.

Basically, I just lucked out that the fish stayed still for long enough.

I cleaned up some of the tiny bubbles that look like white spots in Photoshop (and cropped the pics of course).
