PostSubject: Lamprologus Ocellatus   Fri Jul 10, 2015 3:46 pm

First time using this forum for my sale posts! Hahah, I'm normally on the planted tank, but I figured it'd be preferable to try and sell my fish here instead of trying to ship them out.

I'm thinking of going back to a planted tank with shrimp.  And so to do that, I would need to sell the fish that are in my main tank right now.  If anyone is interested, I have these shell dwellers available.

Three Lamprologus Ocellatus.  They've already spawned a few times for me and were quite docile towards each other once they moved in surprisingly.  Definitely feisty enough to attack me whenever I'm doing water changes in the tank. I'll sell them for $10 bucks each Smile.  Or you can take them all away for $25.

I also have some emersed plants for sale if anyone is interested.  These are grown out of water, with a mister that mists the tub every 30 minutes so they've grown in quite well.  A little too overgrown though... All were grown in 3x3 plastic pots.

Hydrocotyle Sp. Japan - $7 per pot
Ludwigia Sp Red - 50 cents a stem
Alternanthera Reineckii Sp. Mini - $1.50 a stem
Staurogyne Repens - 50 cents a stem

I wished I lived convenient to the Richmond area. Those plants look amazing along with your shell dwellers.

Good luck selling your fish and plants. Some of our members buy and trade with each other all the time. You have an amazing collection of plants. You have a better selection than most pet stores... Cool

Thanks! I've been buying some from others a while back and just constantly grow em. If there's a specific plant you're looking for, I can try to cultivate it for you Very Happy.

The ocellatus are beautiful, @SmokedEel, and those are great photos.  We posted one on our facebook page to get some more traffic here for you.  Hope you will rehome those great fish soon.  If I had not already just set up a Lake Tang community, I'd be interested!

Great pics of the fish, and also a great collection of plants. I have cycled out of Tang species for the time being, lol, but those are nice - I'll be on the lookout for takers!
