PostSubject: Fish for new homes - Semi-urgent   Thu Mar 24, 2016 8:45 pm

A family in my neighborhood is moving out of a home and into an apartment (downsizing) and they had a 20 gallon long tank that they gave away for free . . . and the fish came with it. I assume their filtration was super good because the fish they kept in this tank are huge!

They had a handful of tetras, two large corydoras, but more impressively a 6" Rainbow shark, a 5" CAE, and a whopping 14" Pleco (a geogeous specimen I might add!)

I have taken these fish and put them in my tank, but I think the CAE and rainbow shark are too hyper and jittery and bullying for my tanks, and the Pleco is so huge, I don't think the 55 even has enough space for a fish like this.

Is anyone interested at all in providing a home for these dinosaurs? I will provide pictures in the next few days, but if I have any takers sooner than that, don't hesitate.

I have unloaded everything and now I also have a ton of supplies. I have pipe cleaners for filter pipes, I have standard tubing for air pumps. An Emperor 280 filter, good working condition with 12 replacement filters. 5 lbs bag unopened gravel (light and dark blue mix), and a few decorations.
