I have a confirmed breeding pair of young electric blue acaras available. They have had two robust spawns thus far and would have more but I'm not able to keep up with the babies. They are fantastic parents and I've left the free swimmers in with them until the babies were big enough to net out and put in their own tanks. There were no issues, and the parents cared for them well.

I also have about 8 babies left, largest 1", that are robust and very colorful, gobbling flake and tiny pellets. I'll get pics of those posted soon.

$40 for the pair
$8 each for the babies

Pic is of mom with one of the spawns

Very cool Liz -- they are beautiful fish. I will do some research and review my tank space.
What temp do you keep them at?
Talk to you soon,
Steve R

I keep them about 78. The babies have been at 80 but am moving it down a bit over time.

Why did you have it at 80? Is 80 better for spawning or keeping fry healhty?

I had them in higher temps when young to speed up their metabolism and growth. #cheating
