I found a dealer on ebay that has driftwood for CHEEEEP. Usually the driftwood you can get commercially is solid and stump-like, without branches or extensions. I get frustrated trying to find good pieces, and if I do find them they cost in excess of $50 often, or the pieces are too small for my larger tanks.

Shipping was combined, and since they are not waterlogged and lightweight I got it all for a song.

The dealer is "appleeaters", http://myworld.ebay.com/appleeaters/?_trksid=p4340.l2559 He communicated with me almost immediately to let me know about combining the shipping, and he's got great feedback. Just wanted to share! I'll post back once I receive them to be sure I get what is advertised.

I got this piece, 31 inches long, for $9. The image is small and is all I could get, but you can get the idea that it is branchy and root-like, which is always something I'm looking for.

I got this piece, 15 x 14, for $6.

Those are really branchy! Just what you were looking for. Will you attach them to something?

Went to obx this weekend for a lil r n r and found a place that sold driftwood near the place I was staying at and bought a nice size piece for my 125 that I'm setting up his website is outerbanksdriftwood.com spent almost an hour checking pieces out for the tank got a piece that looks like a base of a tree and picked it up for less than $40 for a huge piece! Might go back there soon for a longer piece that could go across the whole tank, his whole yard is literally littered with nice driftwood!
