| I have been using Marina for over a year now and is well worth the money. I also have a Aqueon but the big difference is the connection fittings to the sink. Most sink faucets either need no adapter or an adapter to hook up the hose system. The aqueon has a nice valve system compared to the marinas twist type but the Aqeon has a plastic male to male adapter that pops out with the littlest movement. The Marina has a metal adapter with built in gasket so the system stays secure in place. The Marina also comes with a fry guard which is a plastic cap that goes on the vacuum end and prevents sucking up small fish. It also comes with two suction cup holders which attach to the vacuum so you don't have the vacuum just floating around or sucking up substrate while draining. The Aqueon came with the connection adapters and hoses thats it. I would say the Marina wins by the metal adapter but the Aqueon has a better valve system.

| I say we order a python. I don't care for either of these personally, minus the fact it beats using a bucket. _________________ MY Youtube Channel

| I use the Aqueon one even though I don't like it that much. I am about to downsize some tanks so I can live with it for now. I personally would not recommend the Aqueon one to anybody. |

| Make sure you replicate the Venturi effect if your going to use it to vacuum. I made the mistake of building one and never looking inside the aqueon fitting. Wasted that money, lol. Now I just pump it into the back yard instead of using the faucet (except when doing something small like the fry tank). _________________ |

I don't know Liz. I have never used or owned one. I thought the name left the industry a year ago but I guess it was a rumor. |

| Yeah, I thought they'd gone out of business, but when you look them up you can buy them pretty much anywhere.
I like the idea of suction cups for the rigid tube - I might retrofit my Python with those! _________________ My Blog My Youtube Channel

| Python is still around but my wholesaler dosn't have them any more. DEEP BLUE has the same thing as Pyhon. I use a python at the shop but use DEEP BLUE part as needed. I have faucet adapters if you need one. _________________ If it's wet, I like it. |
