Just wanted to add that the Angels were only in the tank about 2 hours before laying the first batch of eggs. Moving must not have been much stress.

It looks awesome Ben! The tank has so much depth.

It looks awesome! I love it. You did a great job aquascaping and the fish look very happy. Sometimes cichlids will be inspired to lay eggs by some sort of disruption in their lives - I had some spawn for me right after a hurricane and a lengthy power outage.

Here is a picture of the latest batch of eggs. They have been guarding for 2 days. I can't believe they are still there with all those tetras and cats swarming around.

Pterophyllum scalare (Angelfish)

You can see them on that piece of wood right next to the angel. This is about half the load the rest are on the backside of that wood.

Its a 180 Exclamation You should get some survivors if you leave them in there.

Believe it or not this is 1 of 3 batches laid the same day. 3 pairs of angels spawning at the same time is a bit scary even in a 180.

The ABN is sweet! I'm starting to see why people like them so much!

ABN's are great when you can find them in your tank. I am lucky about once a week to see one in my 75 and 47. They love to get in or under driftwood and rarely come out.
One thing for sure though the males sure give truth to the statement "love is blind" I don't know what the females must have been thinking...lol
looking forward to getting a male though. Both mineare females.

She came with a tank I bought a while back. Her brother is developing nicely and is a short fin. He will carry the longfin gene though.

That's a gorgeous shot - she's draped across the wood like a proper lady! She's very striking in your tank.
