LOL! Too funny. I'd like to see two tanks of them side by side, planted.

I had a single Dario dario male for about nine months. He did great in a dimly lit planted 20 long. A pair of Endler's livebearers with fry were in with him, and we think he was eating the fry, but can't be sure. Soon, the whole set-up moved from a 20 long to a 29 gallon where he did great as a single. I tried very hard to find a female for him but could not. Eventually, I added about 15 micro-Rasbora to the tank. After the micro-fish were added the Dario began to waste away. He stopped eating his usual food and died.

The Dario came from Azalea Aquariums. They told me they get them in from time to time but the last batch they had sickened and died before I could get up there to see them. Sad

Dario are great little fish with a lot of attitude, best kept in a species set-up. They look like tiny little cichlids to me, and are a challenge to keep.

Do it Ben. We are gonna turn the extra 55 into the community and if all goes well the 65 will be a planted discus tank in the future. We just have to figure out the cost and save up the money (pending 10 gallon planted tank results).
