First topic message reminder :

Ok I went Aj today to just look around and took some pics. My girlfriend loves catfish but I don't have good luck with them so I steer clear. Anyways she hates plecos and I love them. She went to animal jungle today and got me two rhino plecos and really got into the ones she saw. So here are the ones she liked.







This one I forgot to take a picture of the tag but it was like almost $300. Nice looking pleco.

and by the way, it is a south american species of pimelodid catfish. its scientific name is : Sorubimichthys planiceps. kinda long, but hey.. these scientists gotta find something to do in their free time lol!

Sorubimichthys = means Sorubim-type fish (looks like a Sorubim);
planiceps = means "flat head."

So, it's perfect!

thanks! also the name is commonly associated with Long whisker catfish.. just a fun fact. and most of these species get huge!
