Looks good! The black sand is nice. Is that Tahitian Moon or some other kind?

Hope to see more of the gold nugget next time! *lol*

The sand is Stony River Aquarium Sand, we were able to purchase 75 lbs. from AJ for around $50. The nugget in that tank was purchased from Fish Safari in Feb. It use to hide behind the heater until I unplugged it. Now it hangs out on the wood Very Happy

Interesting activity. Wish I understood a little more about their behavior. What will happen if the one on the left finally gets through the barrier? (I know he won't but let's say he does.) Is it a territorial thing? A male/female thing? What is going on?

Well the divider is for aggression. The 2 largest ones are confirmed females. The largest on the left is at that maturity where she tolerates nothing. There is a small hole in the divider for passing of the smaller fish. The practice with the hole is used for breeding purposes. With Festae the males grow a lot larger then the females, so the smaller hole is for the females escape and encounter.
