Anybody have a chance to check out the new plant LEDs from Marineland? If so, what do you think of them? Did you buy them locally? They are supposed to be available now.

I have T5's that no matter what tweaks I make grow algae. LOL

All my plants are pretty undemanding: anubias, java fern, java moss, bolbitis, etc.

I have had a problem with Marineland LED and Marineland in general. They are selling these lights (LED), for a lot more then they are worth, Check out the wire and insulation on any of the new Marineland LED lights. I have a review on the double bright LED fixtures they sell here .

Wow. Sounds like a crap shoot with their LEDs. I guess I'll wait until the new plant LEDs have been out for awhile and see what the reviews are like.

Good choice. New products fail all the time but the lights I purchased were a redesign of the old LEDs.

Yeah I would really like you to periodically give updates over the next couple of months! Want to see if it is worth the money with the use of that $25 off coupon, they are a bit pricey and just got that Nova Extreme 4x24 light fixture, I think it may be plenty on a 25G. The LED is definitely sleeker looking and better on power consumption.
