Hey everyone. Just a heads up, I caught word that Ca. Blackworm Co. was giving away 7.5gm samples of their freeze-dried blackworms. Send an e-mail to blkworm@aol.com w/ your info and screenname/forum you're apart of and they'll send you some blackworms and let you in on some deals specifically for forum members. I e-mailed them last Monday, they mailed it Wed, and I got it on Sat so they have a pretty quick turn around. I tossed a few to my fish and they gave it the typical "something brand new curiosity/hesitation" but then started grabbing at them. I think I'll soak them a little while before next time so they sink instead of floating. - N

Thanks Nereus7, I'll give them a try. Free is almost always good.

I did this a few months ago and they will send the stuff out. My fish loved it.

Here is actual information if someone is interested. I just received a response back regarding the offer. I emailed them this morning to try and get a sample and details of the offer.

Please do post how your fish did with the FDCBW and what you think of our Freeze Dried Blackworm in the Thread where you discovered this offer along with any other Forums you visit.
Help to get the word out about our new Freeze Dried California Blackworms.

Hi Ron
I took a look at that thread, its not 100% accurate. We are sending Sample of our Loose FDCBW but not 7.5 grams. Still free and we pay postage.
Here is the actual post, if you want to post it on your Forum this would be ok.

Our posting is the 2nd one.
We'll get these out to you via our US Postal tomorrow or the day after at the latest.
Please do let us know how they work out for you.
Thanks for giving us a try and thank you for your business,

Jennifer

Yea I just threw them on the scale, it's a little under 7.5. I wonder where I got that weight from?? Whatever the case, it's more than enough to determine whether or not your guys will go for them, and like Ron said, you can't beat free Smile

To who put that picture up : Have you had better luck with the cubes? I have a good bit of current in my tank and one of my filters has already claimed a few blackworms. I'm thinking cutting a chunk of cube and soaking it a little until it sinks will solve that problem, then they can gnaw at it like a wafer. - N

I got some yesterday. Took close to 2 weeks but received via USPS yesterday. Tried some out on Mbunas, and Peacocks. They were unsure at first then as soon as the first one worked up bravado it was a free for all after that. They loved it. They send a sheet with Forum pricing if you wish to re-order
