Hello all,
I was just told about this forum by Mark (Cichlid Lover) the other day and I've been anxiously waiting for him to email me the link so I could get on here and get started. I'm excited to get to know all of you and look forward to meeting everyone in Richmond on the 26th!!!
A little about me, well my girlfriend Lisa and I live in King George Va and between the two of us have 5 children. We are both very passionate about fishkeeping and fish breeding, we currently have 50+ tanks and that number keeps growing. We keep everything from discus to 2 over 2 ft silver arowanas but our real passion is in keeping and breeding African cichlids, more particularly peacocks.

I'll keep trying, thanks for the link. I may have to hold off on posting photos because my fish room is extremely crowded and it would be hard to get a good photo of the set up. I'll see what I can do but 46 tanks in a small den is hard to photo lol. In the spring we'll be moving the setup out into our 2 car garage which will give us much more room to move around and of coarse get more tanks lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome;-) Yes its true 50+ tanks and yes Lowes is gonna LOVE us lol. I wish I could tell you we've got fish in all of the tanks but that would be lying. We just set up a new rack of 23 brand new tanks that aren't ready for fish yet but they will be soon.

Welcome John and Lisa, Looking forward to meeting you on the 26th. I to can't get over 50+ tanks and sounds like counting. Everytime I think I know a little about this hobby I read these forums, or come to the meetings and find what a novce I am. Looking forward to hearing about your setups.
