Noticed eggs from 1 pair of the pandouro's last night this will be the third batch of eggs. The female has eaten the first 2 batches i hope this time she sees them through. I have heard it takes up to 4 spawns before they get the hang of it.

Your becoming quite the egg farmer lately. Good luck and make sure you let us know how the success is going

YES!!!

Great news Lean, I'm certain they'll get it down and you'll be rewarded with some wonderful fry!

Pandouro's are great fish....

Thanks Gundog, we got our fingers crossed if it doesnt go right this time i am thinking i may need to invest into an ro/di setup, I have also read that if the water is to hard they will eat there eggs.

If you have them in a small tank (which I think you said 10 gallons) in the short term maybe you can buy distilled water and do 50/50 tap/distilled for pwc's. Also, when I was a kid we had a small hand-held filter to distill our well water, making it safe for the steam iron. It looked something like a Brita filter, and you can probably still buy them. Just an idea. Very Happy
