What's you favorite fish that you've never kept?

For me, right now, it's Victorian Cichlids

I'm still kicking myself in the a%$ for not buying those FULU's listed on here a few months back, but I couldn't house 40 new fish.....

I need to get over being so responsible.... Smile

Your wish fish please....

Fresh Water - I am so torn between 3 fish.

I do love a Tiger Oscar. i mean, sure, they are dirty aggressive pigs the eat and poop too much and tear up tanks, but they are beautiful and personable. Maybe one of these days I will dedicate a tank to one.

Discus - High maintenance sensitive fish, but super models, I would like to keep a variety, but the snake skins and red eagle discus caught my eye

Puffer Fish - The Figure 8 and Green puffers look like a lot of fun to keep.

Salt Water - I am not sure I will ever be ready for the hassle of a salt water tank, but...

The salt water angelfish have caught my eye, especially the emperor angel, and different Tang Varieties

Archerfish are probably at the top of my list.

Discus and Arrowanas are also on it. I would probably want at least a semi-auto water changing system to get into discus.

The saltwater list is pretty long, but not likely to happen any time soon.

I saw the cover story in Amazonas, has me rethinking Discus also.

And Arowanas.

Both fish seem to be popular on folks wishlists.

A converted indoor swimming pool would be about the only way to have proper space for a red-tailed cat Smile

Don't tell me that. I'll be planning a road trip. You don't see them available often or at least I don't. Laughing

Syno multis and Gold nugget plecos were on my list, but I have added them in the past 6 months Smile The gold nuggets we got at the Catfish convention from a seller from Ohio.

I got a group of 3 Gold nugget plecos a year or two ago and lost all of them the first time Sad If possible I would bite the bullet and buy one that had acclimated in a pet store. The main difference I can tell is keeping them at a warmer temp the second time.

Candy darter is rare and is a protected species. There's plenty of other beautiful darters that are common and legal to catch in VA: roanoke, redline, banded, greenside, etc.
