Here's a pic of a new Flametail I picked up the first of the month. Had him in quarantine for a couple weeks and so far doing great in my 90

WOW!

Good looking fish Ron...

He needs a few lady friends to pass on those fine genes.

Then you can pass on some of his fry to your "buddies"..... Wink

Thanks, I was able to get a great Fryeri, and a Rubescen at the same time. They won't hold still enough to get a good pic. When I do I will post also. I really lucked into these. A gentleman in Williamsburg was temporarily getting out of hobby and gave them to me allong with 4 Multipunctatis cat fish, and three Yellow Labs

Finally got some fairly decent picks of the Fryeri (Electric Blue Hap) and the Rubescen

Ahli Electric Blue Hap and The Auloncara Flametail

Maturing Male Rubescen

Another pic of the Electric Blue Hap

How big is the Electric right now?

Also on a side note: in your first image (from today) there is a brown striped fish with what looks like limish green dorsal fin tips = what kinda fish is that?

Electric is about 4" and still maturing. The other fish you asked about in pic is an "Idunno" Not sure if a male or female German Red or a Sulphurhead. Still to small or not aggressive enough to show color yet.

Peacocks are popular fish and for good reason.... But I love the HAPS!

When your Electric get's 7-8 inches in that Vibrant Blue he is going to be even more stunning than he is now - big and colorful!..... I like that combo.

Thanks. I still have a lot of younger fish without much color yet. Bad thing about Peacocks they take a long time to color up. It was a lucky find to get some nearly mature fish to brighten up the tank
